Models Available: Walthers makes a good taconite car for a starting point for this model. The side extensions are not correct. This decal copies the MRHS custom run of pre-lettered T-bird cars from Walthers, now out of stock.

Application Notes: Series 40001-40279. Rebuilt from DM&IR ore cars in classes U29, 30 and 31, these cars received special side extension to increase their crude ore capacity in captive service between the Thunderbird mine and the Fairlane pellet plant.
