Application Notes: Series: Beginning at 2100, several hundred cars were slated for rebuild. Cars were rebuilt from Minntac side dump crude ore cars.
Walthers produced a similar model, but it is currently out of production. Some hobby stores still stock it. The Walthers car is longer and has five vertical braces on the side versus four on the prototype, effecting placement of the Missabe logo.
