Application Notes: This set reflects the DM&IR and DM&N lettering used form just prior to the 1937 merger until the present time. Lettering used by the DM&N and the D&IR before this time were of different font styles. Now includes the car "Minnesota II."

The car numbers in this set reflect the actual car roster as of the late 1950's, however several cars, notably the business car Northland, exist today. Some cars, bumped into MOW service, kept their green colors, others were repainted maroon with black roofs. The W and MWM lettering is included in this set.

Cars W24 and Northland were listed as "Official Cars," Cars 8, 9 and 10 were baggage/mail. Coaches were 28 through 85. Cars 108 and 109 were wood combine baggage/passenger. Car 112 was baggage, and 113 was baggage/mail.
