Application Notes: Cars were rebuilt from earlier coal hoppers owned by the Missabe. Class Q2 hoppers, series 4700-4749 were rebuilt by the EJ&E for the Missabe in 1975. Class Q5 hoppers, series 1000-1249 and 11000-11249 were rebuilt by the Missabe in a 1971-1973 rebuild program.
